St. Luke's elementary program offers classes for grades one through
four. Teachers provide an enriched curriculum that supports
as well as challenges the individual student and instills
an enthusiasm for learning. Class sizes are limited to eighteen
students in first and second grade while third and fourth
grade are limited to twenty. On occasion exceptions have
been made to lower class limits to ensure meeting the educational
needs of the students. Student progress is continually
monitored and close communication between teachers
and parents is maintained. Report cards are sent home
each quarter indicating progress in academics, social development and
work habits.
In keeping with St. Luke's mission statement of preparing students for life by providing a superior
college preparatory education in a Christian environment, daily devotions are an integral component
of the curriculum and weekly chapel services are attended by students and staff.
Extracurricular enrichment classes as offered at various times throughout the year with offerings
including science, math, art and even sewing activities! All students are welcome to attend.
Our Winter Sports program is an integral component of the educational program at St. Luke's. It
provides meaningful opportunities that enhance the daily physical education curriculum for students
in first through ninth grade. It typically takes place on several days between January and February
and includes on-site and off-site programs for students. The winter sports may include skiing,
snowboarding, swimming, bowling, lacrosse, gymnastics, soccer, dance, tennis, walleyball, karate, and cheerleading.
